Building the Warrior's Spirit

Warrior Mission Ranch is hosting some Men’s Leadership Training courses.

  1. Survival and Self-Defense.

  2. Horsemanship/Team building training.

The Warrior Mission Ranch event will be capped at eight people, unless Mike decides to open up this opportunity to more service members.

The “What”:

Change through Challenge is the theme of this event.

Mike believes that horses were a huge part of his recovery.  He was told that he would never walk again, and now he rides and trains at a high-level.  The event will provide an introduction to Horsemanship and Cow horse work, with the focus of improving leadership skills and communication, through the use of partnership with the horse.  The ability to learn proper communication skills with the horse, will in turn, benefit attendees in all aspects of life.  It is Mike’s passion in life, to help as many people as possible experience the same unique bond and healing that he found through horsemanship.  Additionally, during the event, participants will be building a “fighting tomahawk” as part of the craft as participants focus on learning new skills to create something out of their own hands.  All of these activities are meant to help foster a Warrior’s Heart in all that they do.

The “Where”: Smith Ranch in Danbury, NC

Rain or shine.  Room and Board will be included.  Horses and Tack and anything else that the event requires, such as materials and tools to build a Throwing Hawk, or Knife and Scabbard will be included.
